Hunting and Fishing
Morrill County is home to some of the best waterfowl hunting in the state of Nebraska. Excellent opportunities for antelope, deer, turkey, pheasant, and grouse are also available throughout the area. Golfing
Courthouse and Jail Rock Golf Course is located in the shadows of the historic and scenic Courthouse and Jail Rock 5 miles south of Bridgeport. The course provides an enjoyable experience with its excellent fairways and beautiful scenery.

Water Sports
The Bridgeport State Recreation Area located on the outskirts of Bridgeport provides relief from the summer heat. Wake boarding, water skiing, fishing, lounging on the beach, or camping are all available at the “Pits”.

Team Roping to Cycling
The community of Bridgeport has a very diverse population with wide ranging recreation interests from the Morrill County Team Roping Club to the avid group of local cyclist. Skeet shooting, gardening clubs, golf leagues, and the Camp Clark Raiders Muzzleloader’s Club are just some of the many clubs and organizations available to the citizens of Bridgeport.
